Australia’s Monash University is offering the 2023 Monash International Tuition Scholarship (MITS)
Monash University offers Monash International Tuition Scholarships (MITS) to assist international students pursuing a degree at the institution. The awarding of Monash scholarships is highly competitive and is determined by your academic record, any published research, and past research experience. A MITS pays the course tuition fees that the student would otherwise be responsible for.
Monash University Information
Melbourne, Victoria, home to Monash University, is where this public research university is located. It was established in 1958 and is the second-oldest university in the state, bearing the name of a notable World War I general, Sir John Monash. There are several campuses for the institution, including one in Malaysia and five in Victoria (Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula, and Parkville). Along with these locations, Monash also maintains research and teaching facilities in Prato, Italy, Mumbai, India, Suzhou, China, and Tangerang, Indonesia. South Africa is one of the countries where Monash University courses are offered.

Value of Scholarship: Monash International Tuition Scholarship covers the cost of:
- Course tuition fees; and
- A single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship
- You must be an International student.
- You must meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements, and
- You must meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements.

Application for graduate research scholarships is done at the time of applying for your course unless you are already enrolled. Whether you are a new or current student, the same application process is used for both admission and/or scholarship via our Applicant Portal. You do not need to specify which scholarship you are applying to as you are automatically considered for all graduate research scholarships (where eligible).
